Beyond the fact that I was born in the city and moved to the country and raised on a farm where work was the central focus of life while growing up, many of you know my youthful vigor was spent causing chaos which I never fully grow from. However, beyond my #countrymusic and #rocker roots, I see #OUTLAWCOUNTRY as more than a sound. It is musicians who stand up for #indieartist thinking and try to retain creativity in an industry saturated with cookie cutter artists who all fall under the age of 12 and have a look/sound produced by the money spent on them up front.
Don't get me wrong. I love the industry, and all the trimmings. However, the #OUTLAWCOUNTRY spirit does run deep in me, and I have been labeled a "troublemaker" within' the circles of mass produced music in the past because I simply didn't take $200,000 to act like something I am not.
I loved this articel so much that I am breaking my silence and speaking out. Not as a victim or bruised ego, but rather, as someone who loves music, and how it heals souls when it comes from the #heart

Growth will always feel uncomfortable. It’s taken me a few years. I have a lot further to go. To fully embrace myself, for everything I am, inside and out. Letting go of what people expect me to be and standing strong against societies pre conceived notions of what I should be. I have made many changes to my lifestyle over these past few years and I’m slowly reaching my 1st year of being fully sober. It’s been the most incredible journey that has helped me grow in so many ways, I would most definitely like to do a video soon and share with you all why I chose to no longer drink alcohol.
